Rolling over to his front he pushed himself up to his hands and feet and then just his feet. He sighed slightly as he raised his left hand and mimicked his sensei's previous motion himself as a way to beckon her to attack. He then grabbed his hilt with both hands and raised his zan in front of him, waiting the oncoming attack that the Mizukage might make.

Tenkazi grined softly before pointing the blade towards him and closing her eyes softly. She sighed waiting for his attack. She was never an offensive type not in anything.

He frowned as he waited for an attack and was given nothing in return. Rolling his eyes he guessed that she was a defensive type of course. Women. With this thought over he rushed towards her, his feet making no sound as he sprinted over the dirt once again. As he was close enough he continuued with his sword movement, thrusting his zan towards her stomach in an attempt to run her through.

She jumped slightly landing on the zan. She ran foward and fliped over him kicking him in the face as she did. She also postioned her zan to run along his side in a way that either way he would get hit by one or the other.

As soon as the extra weight landed on the tip of the sword Nicholas dropped it from his hands stepping backwards from the incoming attacks. The drop of her footing would hopefully knock her off balance so that he could regain his weapon and carrying on attacking.

She lost her balance and quickly recovers jumping away smiling" Thank god....finally someone who i consider strong enough to be my student" She says smiling softly.

Listening to her words a sense of pride washed over Nicholas. He bowed his head a bit as he tried to hold back the smile that he felt growing inside of him. He didn't really like showing his emotions for everyone to see, it showed weaknesses of course. The Genin scratched the back of his head as he raised his head once again and looked upwards at the sky before looking back towards the Mizukage. He walked over to where the zan he was using was laying on the ground, picking it up with his right hand but the tip was still touching the ground. He really enjoyed using this sword, such powerful strikes that could be worked on for speed. Though it needed two hands to use at the moment.

"I only work with what you give me"

He said this as he swung around the zan randomly around himself, both of his hands clutching the hilt as usual.

She nodded softly" Yes. Well thats all for zanbatou's today . That one is your's to keep" She places the zanbatou into a sealing scroll and turned around." Evuntly if you seem good enough i'll teach you my dual style which got me the kage spot"

He smiled a bit when he heard the words leave the Mizukage's mouth. He was pretty damn happy that he had a sword of his own and a fine one at that. He let it rest down at his side once again, clutching it with just his right hand. Nicholas thought for a moment, he would need to obtain a strap or something to hold the blade with. On his back would be a pretty good place, he was pretty sure he could sort that out himself of course.

"Thank you sensei. I will keep it in the quality you gave it to me"

She looked over at him when he was thinking about where to place the blade. She looked at the blade then at a tattoo on her shoulder." Want me to give you a sealing tattoo?" She points to the tattoo on her arm.

The shinobi peered at the tattoo that was carved ont he arm of Hioa. He guessed that was what summoned these zans in the first place. They didn't look very good looking but at the same time didn't look ugly. Having that though would certainly be a lot easier than carrying this around everywhere with him, he may as well have it. Lifting his cloak sleeve from his right arm he held it out in front of him, implying what his decision was already before even saying anything but he did add one thing to his request.

"Please"

She nods and walks over to him and asks him to sit. As he is doing this she takes out a bursh and a bunch of ink. She looks over at him" What design?"

He looked down at his arm and dwelled in thought over what he wanted the tattoo to be designed as. An animal? If so what animal would he choose? A symbol? Again what symbol could he have? Nicholas was making a big deal out of nothing and decided to be simple about it. Still holding his arm out to her he spoke softly.

"Gimme a tribal style around my forearm"

She nodded softly" Ahh yea alright." She takes out a neddle and pricks his arm drawing a bit of blood."It's to keep the sealing scroll in there" She starts to draw the symbol on his forearm.
